MPRE

I have the MPRE (Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam aka legal ethics test) tomorrow, so I'm going to buckle down for a bit and study far away from the computer (because there are a million other things I want to do than study for this exam).

I was told this exam is "harder than the bar" - but I think that's just because no one studies much for it, so whether you pass or not is a crapshoot!

I can take it an unlimited number of times, but it's $60 (and $10 for parking - what a rip!) every time I do, so... I'm really hoping to pass!! Wish me luck. ;)

Update: It went... ok? My friend put it this way - "either we failed, or we passed!" Complete uncertainty walking out of that test. We'll see in 5 weeks (I can't believe it takes that long to score a scantron!)

Good luck I failed that sucker the first two times (gulp) even though I passed the bar on the first try! It's true what they say...study hard!

You'll be fine. Spend a few hours tonight reviewing and it'll be a cakewalk.

If you go to the MPRE website there's a booklet you can purchase for about $20 and it has 150 practice questions (3 exams worth). I'd recommend going over those and then reviewing any topics that you are consistently answering incorrectly or struggling with.

Seriously you'll be fine. I studied for that exam for maybe 2 hours and passed with a HUGE margin for the Texas required score of 85.

Thanks for your comments ladies. :) I'm not sure how it'll turn out, but I'm very happy it's over and done with (uh, at least for now).

Good luck, I hope you passed. I had to pass a professional engineering exam, CA makes it harder by including a section on earthquake engineering. I really didn't know if I passed that section, it was tough. Fortunately I did so I hope you passed yours as well.

Good luck! We have been sticking to our meal plans the past couple months and it has been great! Sure there are times when it doesn't work, but it's great when you come home, you don't have to think about what to make, you already know.
