Withdrawal & Depression

We won't have internet in the new place until NEXT friday!! I'm already going into withdrawal! And this is all because M waited until 2 days before we moved to call our internet provider! Ugh. At least I have the iphone... but it won't do me any good when I'm trying to research for my paper. :\ Guess I'll have to just spend some nights at school...

In other (depressing) news, the Jimmy Choos I said I was returning? Disappeared. Apparently, my mom thinks she put them in the back of her car and then accidentally gave them to Goodwill along with a bunch of other stuff.

wtf. I love my mom, but... WTF!

I guess this is my punishment for buying such expensive shoes?! :(

that's when I would camp out front of the goodwill and not leave till I got the shoes back....but I can be a little extreme...

Don't you think one of the people who worked there would've immediately grabbed them? The Nordstrom return tag was on the box, there's easy money for them! :( My mom said she would call first thing in the morning... but this was yesterday afternoon, so I have little hope.

Oh no. It's like a bad Sex & The City episode. Good luck.

And I think yeah, they could have taken them back for easy money, but what if they just took them home? I know not everybody appreciates a good piece of shoe art but still. I will be praying for the reunion of you and The Choos.

If that was karma, it's playing a dirty trick on you. Really hope you get them back!

Oh no, that is terrible. I would be depressed too! I hope they turn up, it would be crazy if they got donated instead.

So, the shoes were definitely donated, and when we called Goodwill, no one could find them... someone out there got REALLY lucky. :P I hope it's someone who's genuinely poor... that would make me feel a little better.

My mom helped TONS with the move though (like making the 1 hr drive daily from her place and helping to clean/organize until midnight)... so I kinda feel like we're even.
